Amazon Counterfeit Products : White House Cracking Down on Fakes

The Department of Homeland Security has put Amazon and other online retailers on notice that they will be cracking down on the sale of counterfeit goods as part of the new trade deal’s initiative to “combat the prevalence of counterfeit or pirated goods”. Alex breaks down why Amazon has been lax about addressing these issues and looks back at previous WTA coverage of Amazon’s dealings with mobile accessory brand PopSockets.
