Y Combinator Accelerator Changes Standard Deal [2022 YC Deal Terms]

Y Combinator, considered by many to be the premiere startup accelerator, has announced it will be modifying its standard deal. This new YC standard deal will now invest a total of $500,000 when a company is accepted into the YC batch program. Alex explains how this new deal differs from Y Combinator’s previous, shares some thoughts from Applico employees who are YC alums, and explains why this change could draw ire from some seed investors.
