Why Netflix Adding Ads is a Bad Idea πŸ“ΊπŸ“Ό

Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos, speaking at the Cannes Lions advertising conference, announced that the streaming service plans to incorporate an ad supported subscription tier into its offerings. Rolling out an ad tier feels like a lame way to boost subscriber numbers while the company continues to ignore the core problems with Netflix’s business model.
