Why is Amazon Opening Brick-and-Mortar Department Stores?

The Wall Street Journal has obtained information that eCommerce giant Amazon will open multiple large physical retail locations in the United States. Alex explains some of the reasons online retailers are opening brick-and-mortar stores and highlight’s what tech Amazon should be utilizing in its physical locations strategy to maximize value and offset the common downsides that have caused the traditional retail sector to lose out against eCommerce.
