Salesforce’s $27.7 Billion Slack Acquisition: Time to Dump Atlassian ($TEAM)?

Salesforce ($CRM) has announced they will be acquiring the communication platform Slack ($WORK) in a $27.7 billion acquisition. Alex discusses this large acquisition by Salesforce and looks at how this positions CEO Marc Benioff’s cloud-based software company against trillion dollar giant Microsoft. He also looks at an Australian competitor, Atlassian, who is now clearly occupying third place in a winner take all market.
