Private Tech Company Shares Sell Off in 2022

Private market tech shares have begun to see a sell off similar to what public markets have exhibited over the past few weeks. Venues for trading equity in private startups have reported a 19.9% year-over-year decline in prices of startups. I think uncertainty around our current economic environment is a factor here as well as VCs needing to go into earlier and earlier stage investing as private equity and hedge funds crowded the startup investing space.
