How Will The U.S. Regulate Big Tech in 2022?

With much focus on the EU’s uproarious Digital Markets Act, tech and antitrust regulators in the United States have had less press attention given to what they may do to curb the power of big tech in 2022. In this video I take a look at some comments from members of the House Judiciary’s Antitrust Panel about how big tech will be regulated in the U.S. during 2022. There’s lots of comparisons we can draw here between EU and U.S. regulation but as is often the case, I think how these government agencies decide to define a tech platform will be the key difference maker between profound legislation and more political paper pushing.
