How Microsoft rebooted Windows Phone

Pretty interesting article.  I have been following windows mobile for quite some time.  I remember developing apps on a huge Compaq.  They were ahead of their time but got it all wrong.  They tried to shrink Windows XP down to fit on a device and it just didn’t work at all.  What do you think?
