Applico Expands Mobile Strategy and Product Definition Programs With Acquisition of Top Talent

NEW YORK, NY – February 14, 2012 – Applico today announced that Mukund Sudarsan will join the company as Vice President of Strategy and Product. Sudarsan comes to Applico with over 12 years of experience in building successful businesses in the media, technology and healthcare verticals. Prior to joining Applico, Sudarsan was Director of Strategy and Business Development at Thomson Reuters in the Financial Markets Division. He was responsible for delivering mobile and multimedia offerings that monetize content effectively. Beginning in February, he will spearhead the client strategy and product definition teams at Applico.

“Mukund is joining at the perfect time. Our clients need more than a development firm, they want a strategic mobile partner who can analyze their business needs and identify the best way to leverage mobile solutions and incorporate them into the overall digital strategy,” said Alex Moazed, Applico’s CEO. “Mukund knows the mobile space like no one else we’ve met. We are thrilled to have him join our team and bring his extensive mobile strategy experience to Applico.”

Applico’s strategy offerings are focused on creating a long term mobile execution strategy. By understanding a client’s business operations as well as the mobile ecosystem for third party technologies, Applico identifies the best mobile opportunities for each client and plans how to execute each opportunity so the client can acquire buy-in from senior management.

Applico’s product team takes business requirements and translates them into a detailed set of software requirements, workflows and an innovative, engaging design. These documents bring the client’s mobile solution to life in award-winning fashion.
