Daniel Mendez founded Invictus Medical in 2010 after inventing a medical device designed for prematurely born infants. As CEO & CTO, he grew the company into a full suite of innovative technologies. Invictus has raised over $20M through a series B where it is integrating its platform into GE’s product suite. He has since raised capital and lead projects for companies in varying industries where he oversaw funding, R&D, and new product launches. Daniel also mentors startups and leads financial & healthcare related curriculum for the 500 Startups Accelerator. Immersed in the Bay Area Venture Capital scene, he also invests & scouts for Principium Ventures. Daniel has an MBA & mechanical engineering degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
