Spotify’s Move Into the Podcast Business | The Changing Business Model in Streaming 🎧

We’ve been covering Spotify’s continued moves to establish and a bolster it’s podcast business on this show for awhile now. Music streaming has traditionally been an offering with poor margins due to Spotify only having one bargaining point for the majority of popular music via the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). That’s why I’ve been bullish on the streaming company’s move into podcasting, which is a platform business (unlike music streaming) and rife with fragmented supply.
