Instacart Best Buy Partnership: Will Instacart Shift Their Business Model?

Instacart has announced they will be partnering with electronics retailer Best Buy, to offer same-day delivery across the US via the Instacart app. Alex discusses how we’ve seen Instacart expanding horizontally into new retail verticals and breaks down why he thinks the company will eventually need to embrace a hybrid platform business model (i.e. a platform with linear offerings) to achieve the margins necessary for sustainable profitability.
