DoorDash IPO: Is $DASH Stock a Day One Buy?

DoorDash Inc., a popular U.S. food delivery platform, released their public S-1 on Monday, an important step as the company moves forward with publicly listing its Class A common stock on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “DASH”. Alex digs into the S-1 document, outlining what strengths he sees in the platforms and possible headwinds DoorDash faces as the battle continues in the yet to be consolidated food delivery market.

Form S-1 requires companies to provide information on the planned use of capital proceeds, detail the current business model and competition and provide a brief prospectus of the planned security itself, offering price methodology and any dilution that will occur to other listed securities.
