Alex Moazed President & CEOAlex is the founder, President and CEO of Applico. Under his direction, the company has grown exponentially into an award-winning mobile firm that cuts across all major mobile platforms. Alex is in charge of the management and strategic direction for the company. He continues to push the envelope to achieve innovative solutions for clients. He has worked with a range of digital, creative and interactive agencies, as well as marketing and technology for Fortune 500 companies. Clients rely on Alex for his experience in strategy, acquisitions and licensing throughout the mobile industry. His work has been featured in Fox News, Fortune, CNN and Entrepreneur. Alex has a B.S. degree in Business from Babson College.

Louis Simeonidis CMOLouis leads the development of new business opportunities, partnerships and client strategies. He has over 13 years of experience in mobile marketing, software development, web development and multimedia production. Louis was previously VP, Digital and Technological Strategies at MRM Worldwide where he lead the charge in the mobile industry, creating groundbreaking mobile platforms and brand marketing campaigns. He lead strategy for clients such as Intel, Applebee's, Avis Budget, US Army, Smirnoff, Captain Morgan's, Sprycel, Orencia, Microsoft, Vodafone, Timberland, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Bayer Healthcare, Meda, Verizon, Sony and Puma and others. Along with client strategy, Louis helped MRM on-board mobile as an agency offering throughout MRM's agencies globally. Prior, he worked for Ansible Mobile, defining what mobile marketing and advertising means. He changed the landscape of pharmaceuticals with the first national mobile coupon system that works in 99% of pharmacies across the country. In India, Louis also helped Johnson &Johnson create a groundbreaking voice portal platform to educate thousands of expectant mothers. Prior to Ansible Mobile, he worked for Velti as Director of Product Management in Europe and North America. He was part of the inception team in which he managed the User Interface group and then became Product Manager responsible for guiding product vision, strategy and deployment for the Velti Mobile Marketing Platform.

Matt Powers CTOMatt is responsible for designing the product architecture and leading Applico's development teams. Prior to Applico, Matt worked for Textron Defense Systems where he was responsible for leading the technical direction of their Research and Development group. He brings over ten years of software engineering experience, five of which working on projects used by the United States Army and Navy. Matt has been published in several events and publications including the 2008 IEEE Sarnoff Symposium, 2009 MILCOM conference and ASP.NET Pro Magazine. Matt is a member of the IEEE Computer, Networking, and Transportation societies, the Massachusetts Sensor Network Consortium and also is an active member of the Android developer community. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Fairfield University and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Boston University.

Lauren Kritzer COOLauren Kritzer is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations at Applico and managing the Account Management, Project Management and Quality Assurance departments. Lauren also works in partnership with the CEO and executive team to strategically expand Applico’s operations and resources across various departments and office locations. Previously at Applico, Lauren served as the Director of Client Services, managing client engagements and overseeing the internal Strategy and Product Management teams.
Prior to Applico, Lauren has worked at Public Consulting Group, Inc. working directly with state and local education agencies focusing on school improvement planning, revenue maximization and web-based solutions for public school districts. Lauren has also worked at New England Consulting Group and Interbrand Corporation where she executed strategic marketing, management and brand solutions for Fortune 500 companies. Ms. Kritzer holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Babson College and is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society.

Rob Petit VP, EngineeringRob is responsible for designing and developing software for Applico and its customers. He has spent over 20 years in the computer industry with a broad range of experience including networking, telephony, mobile applications and parallel processing. Prior to joining Applico, Rob worked at a variety of companies including Textron Defense Systems, Raytheon and Intel. He has a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an M.A. in Cognitive and Neural Systems from Boston University.

Ric Perrott Director of EngineeringRic Perrott, an Internet pioneer and software architecture expert with 15+ years of experience designing, architecting, and developing some of the world’s largest websites joined Applico as Director of Engineering in 2012. Ric works alongside Applico's management team to ensure that the technology group is performing at peak efficiency and is constantly innovating for Applico's clients.
Prior to joining Applico, Ric was the Associate Director of Technology for MRM Worldwide, a division of McCann Worldgroup where he led the technical direction for many of the agencies clients including Home Depot, Diageo, Microsoft, Verizon, and the US Army. Prior to that Ric was the Chief Software Architect at Partsearch Technologies where he was responsible for the entire systems architecture and software that powered an $85M business providing OEM and aftermarket parts direct to consumers as well as for some of the biggest names in retail like Best Buy, National Electronics Warranty, and Lowes. Prior to Partsearch, Ric was the Chief Software Architect at RedcatsUSA; the world’s second largest catalog and direct sales company with annual revenue exceeding $3B. Ric was responsible for the architecture, design, and development of RedcatsUSA’s entire online presence, comprising 18 web brands across 3 continents and 5 different countries and acted as the principal technologist on a team that took the company from $0 in annual online sales to over $300M in just under 5 years.
Ric began his Internet career in 1996 with early web pioneers like Music Boulevard, CDNow, UrbanFetch, and BarnesandNoble.com
A technology expert in many disciplines, Ric specializes in Mobile development, Microsoft Server Systems, and Enterprise level architecture.
Ric is a Microsoft certified Solutions Developer, published AppStore developer and a member of the International Association of Software Architects. Ric has published many technical articles, and has spoken at industry conferences about software architecture and design.

Brandon Speweik Director of Business Development, East CoastAs the Director of Business Development at Applico, Brandon is responsible for spearheading the business development team’s strategy and approach to new and existing clients. In this capacity, Brandon helps shape their mobile strategy, consults on mobile and non-mobile media, and oversees the complete project lifecycle at Applico, from business development pitches to creative strategy and project activation.
Before joining the company in 2011, Brandon worked as the Manager of Business Development at Phonevalley, Publicis Groupe’s mobile marketing and advertising arm and the recipient of OMMA’s ‘Mobile Marketing Agency of the Year’ in both 2009 and 2010. Prior to Phonevalley, Brandon worked at Ansible Mobile, the first full service mobile marketing agency and a joint venture between Interpublic Group and Velti. Having extensive agency experience from working across both Publicis Groupe’s and IPG’s network of agencies and clients, Brandon provided mobile marketing and advertising expertise primarily in a strategic development role for mobile website and application development, SMS/MMS and CRM execution, and social media.
Standout clients included Microsoft, Diageo, Johnson & Johnson, Verizon, Sony, General Motors, Intel and Timberland.
Brandon attended and played quarterback for Clemson University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. -
Sam Fankuchen Director of Business Development, West CoastAs Applico’s first team member on the West Coast, Sam is responsible for leading both organizational and business development. In his role as Director of Business Development, he oversees the complete project lifecycle at Applico and offers guidance to partners within and between dedicated engagements.
Prior to Applico, Sam worked within the privately-held division of Penske Corporation. He specialized in business development, technology partnerships, and experimental business models. There, he learned to build strong organizational culture from renowned and admired operators of enterprise scale companies.
With the support of Yahoo, Sam co-founded a for-profit social venture that pairs first-time volunteers with opportunities based on what they like to do for fun, rather than by categories of social issues. He helped define the mission and vision of Craigslist Foundation. He mentors startups through LaunchpadLA, Stanford, BUILD.org, and CleanTech Open.
Sam holds BA and MA degrees from Stanford University. He also studied at the London School of Economics.
